Overall Leveling
You can efficiently gain levels as a sorcerer in ESO while still having fun. This article is aimed at helping you know the best way possible to level with the sorcerer class. No matter where you are or what your level is, there are some general leveling strategies for Sorcerer to keep in mind.

Mob Grinding is the Name of the Game
You can gain experience points mainly by mob grinding with gold farming. There are several things that make it possible:

  1. For the same reward as mob grinding, quests generally take far longer to complete, in addition to them being spread out across the map. It is very difficult to do several quests at once or to power through quests in ESO.
  2. With the right build, mobs are rather easy to destroy even in large groups.
  3. Gaining access to large concentrations of mobs can be made easy with a variety of public and solo dungeons.

The point of matter is, you will most likely gain 60-75 percent of your experience points by grinding mobs no matter what your level is.

Solo Dungeons
When leveling, your best friend is solo dungeons. You don’t have to worry about competing with other people as thee dungeons are occurring to you only. During times when the public dungeons are flooded with players, they may be superior, although they do not provide the potential as doing a public dungeon solo. Those who have not yet mastered their AOE build or those at lower levels may find the solo dungeons easier.

Public Dungeons
When grinding to level up in ESO, you do not have to search the landscape for mobs. Entering a public group or solo dungeon is far more efficient. Torches on the map will mark these locations on the map. Very often, they come as some kind of caves or ruins. You will have no problem soloing these dungeons if you have a build focused on AOE DPS.

Players can solo even the group public dungeons. Remember that ESO is not a complete yes-man of a game when it comes to PvE, although it is generally easy on players. Along with practice of and good knowledge of skills, it will take a completed and focused build to solo the public dungeons.

When the public dungeons are overcrowded, only then should you avoid it. These locations may become over-saturated with players at launch, during peak playtimes, or after a major update. That way, they quickly lose their practicality as a good experience points generator. That means you are losing too many experience points to other players if you are fighting more than five people in your proximate area of the public dungeon at any one time.

As long as you can place at least one hit on the mob before it dies, mob experience is instanced if you do find yourself in a group situation. In order to soak up points, spam AOE skills everywhere you go in a crowded situation. With DPS build, your Sorcerer can clear the mob with ease.

Destruction Staff: Gear Guide for an ESO Sorcerer

The destruction staff will be the primary weapon for majority of sorcerers. It can bring the best out of Sorcerer’s nuke skills. Since they rely on magicka instead of stamina, destruction staffs are superior to other weapon choices for sorcerers, also with most of them keeping minimal stamina and maxing out their magicka points. Corresponding to three different damage types, there are three types of destruction staffs in the game: frost, shock, and fire.

Damage type has to do with the variation in staffs. The same amount of damage is dealt by fire, frost, and shock damage. Although they can change how certain staff skills function and all have a different secondary effect. The effectiveness of a staff on different enemies can also be changed by different damage types. Fire staffs can be more effective to certain enemies, such as Vampires, who have a weakness to fire. The effectiveness of a certain staff can also be reduced in PvP when certain players are wearing a gear that gives them resistance to certain elements. Carrying one of each staff type at all times and swapping weapons based on the events is a good idea.

  • Fire Damage:
When using destructive touch, fire damage causes knockback and stun effects. Because of that, a fire staff is one that is mainly used for PvE on all builds. The burning effect, which is an additional damage over time effect, can also be applied as a result of some skills. This means that, compared to other staffs, fire staffs have a higher overall damage output which is good for gold farming and grinding.

  • Shock Damage:
The disorient effect can be a result of shock damage skills. Since its effect is negated by damage, it is useless in AOE damage situations but, nevertheless, a useful CC effect for single-target situations. It is a long stun if the target remains undamaged. Concussion can be a result of other shock damage skills, and the target’s damage is lowered by 10 percent.

  • Frost Damage:
A temporary root, the deep freeze effect, can be a result of frost damage skills. Since enemies can still attack, it is not as effective as a stun. Thus, it is more inferior to stun combination and fire knockback. Chilled can be applied by other skills, such as force shock. Since it allows melee enemies to be kited very effectively, chilled is more useful as a slowing effect. As long as the opponent player is most reliant on melee DPS, this could make the frost staff effective for certain situations such as against melee bosses or 1v1 PvP fights.

Why You Need KillerGuides’ Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer Guide

Like many MMO and Elder Scrolls fans, I been eagerly awaiting The Elder Scrolls Online. As any veteran of the Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim can attest, a guide is one of the most valuable resources that I can possibly have at my disposal; and with the series being taken online, serious Elder Scrolls Online players like myself need more than just a map and quest descriptions. Enter KillerGuides’ Unofficial Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer Guide, a new guide available on KillerGuides’ website and my one-stop resource for all the information I could possibly need to turn my level 1 wimp of a spellcaster into the game’s ultimate force of destruction. This proved to be my best bet for leveling, quests, PvP and PvE, gold-gathering, weapons and armor; in short, all the information I could possibly need to not only tackle the game’s challenges but other players as well.

KillerGuides or a Forum?

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Why do I need a guide? Why do I need this guide? Can’t I just do a search and read through message boards? To answer that thought, let me share a bit of wisdom I learned working at GameStop: Yes, you certainly can find what you’re looking for on message boards. Maybe you’ll even find the right information. What you won’t get, though, is everything you need right at your fingertips all at once. Independent or not, KillerGuides offered me three extremely important things: the convenience of knowing that everything I need is in one place, the certainty that every topic is explored in detail and the knowledge that the information contained within the mighty tome isn’t wrong or, worse yet, some forum troll’s attempt to mislead me. Oh, and free updates too.

elder scrolls online sorcerer guideWhat Do I Get for My Money?

For my money, I got fifty pages (and more in the near future) of tips, strategies, builds and techniques all in a convenient electronic format. This might not seem like a lot for thirty dollars, but the value of a guide isn’t found in its length. Here, there’s no fluff or wasted pages and what I needed to know was condensed, distilled, rendered down into a handy What You Need To Know. How can I be sure that it really is what I needed to know, you ask? The answer is that every KillerGuides guide is written by gamers, for gamers. Hardcore gamers. These guys aren’t a bunch of suit-and-tie corporates in an editing department somewhere who’ve been handed an assignment with so many words, so many pictures and a bulleted list of facts. These are the sort of people who use this information themselves. So you’re also getting that expertise and experience. It’s quite the bargain, if you think about it. This guide promises techniques for accelerated leveling , advice and commentary on skills for all three skill trees, skill rotation tutorials and techniques, ultimate high-level builds, PvP and PvE strengths and weaknesses and how-to’s on rare equipment and loot. Does it deliver on this promise? Why, yes. Yes, it does. I was taken from character creation all the way to the endgame. How’s that for content? Need help with quests? It’s got what you need. Other players making your underperforming sorcerer eat his own lightning in PvP? This guide’s got your back. Are you a newbie? No problem.

Final Thoughts

When I’m playing a game, I feel good having a guide handy. I may use it; I may not. But it’s good to know that it’s there. It’s like having a pocket full of magic. Of course in Elder Scrolls Online, my sorcerer already has a pocket full of magic; but with this guide I know the right magic and how deep those pockets need to be. I found this guide to be everything I expected, and more. It is, quite simply, everything I need to play Elder Scrolls Online sorcerer class not only the way it was meant to be played, but the way I want to play it- if there’s a difference. If you’re playing as a sorcerer, get this guide or prepare yourself to spend a lot of time in forums and doing searches trying to catch up with people who did. You’ll have to.

Guide to TESO Sorcerer Class

The Sorcerer is one of the five classes in the game, and it looks to be ESO’s standard magic class. In theory, the Sorcerer would be a spell caster in light robes wielding a staff, but because classes are not limited in what gear they can use the Sorcerer may turn out to be a very versatile class with a lot of options.

Since the Sorcerer is a magic based class, managing your mana is of paramount importance. According to www.elderscrollslevelingguide.com, this goes beyond merely making sure you have a lot of mana, as items, armor, and weapons will have various attributes that can make it worth your while to use. When looting, focus on items that grant more mana, lessen mana cost for spells, or increase the rate at which your mana regenerates. Carrying around a lot of mana potions for those awkward moments your mana suddenly runs out is a good idea as well.

The Sorcerer has three skills trees for you to pursue: Storm Calling, Daedric Magic, and Dark Magic.

Storm Calling, as the name suggests, is mainly about lightning spells and dealing damage with them. One spell in particular in this tree, called Mage’s Fury, has a ‘snowball’ effect in that the longer it is cast the more damage it does. This increasing DPS culminates in a powerful finish just as it expires.

Daedric Magic will focus on summoning creatures to fight by your side. Like in the large single player sandboxes, this opens up multiple strategies. For instance, you might use your summoned minion for extra DPS, or you might be of the mind to use it as a meat shield if you are wearing armor that provides a lot of buffs to your magical abilities but little defense. They also make good distractions if you find yourself in a situation that requires retreating to regenerate mana or heal.

Dark Magic is set to be the great crowd control tree that gives the Sorcerer a degree of control over how fights play out. One of the spells available is a knock back, which is good for keeping melee enemies away. Another spell shown off allows the Sorcerer to root enemies in place for a certain period of time, giving them not only a convenient battle tactic but also a useful disengage that makes retreating more manageable.

As a class, the Sorcerer will have a wide range of options when it comes to how they approach any fight, including PVP.

pvp in the elder scrolls online

If you play the Elder Scrolls Online, you likely know that the Sorcerer is one of fourplayable classes through the game. This character class allows you to cast spells and attack from a distance, which provides a unique game play experience. There are a number of people who may be interested in trying out this class for Player-versus-Player battles. These are a common occurrence in ESO, so you may want to prepare for them. If you haven’t yet thought of the right way to utilize this class during PvP, you may want to try it out for yourself.

First, you may want to just think about how PvP works when you play this game. You will need to be at least level 10 before you are allowed to participate in these different matches. This will help make sure that the matches are competitive and not one sided. If you opt to engage in a PvP battle, make sure you are prepared to deal with a number of different strategies. Many people will use different character classes in different ways throughout the game. You should also realize that PvP in ESO operates slightly differently than other styles of the game. You won’t have to have any cool down periods when you use your abilities. It will be all about resource management when you utilize this sorcerer class.

You might also be interested in hearing about some different advantages you could expect to get from the sorcerer. Some think that the sorcerer class is best equipped to deal with the challenges that the PvP format presents. You will still need to get a considerable amount of practice to understand all the skills of the Sorcerer class. If you spend your first 10 levels doing this, you will be at a considerable advantage. It can also show you how you may want to think about utilizing your skill set to give you a competitive edge.

Finally, think about reading up on some other details of the PvP system in ESO. You can actually level up by partaking in different battles, though it can be more difficult this way. You will need to master your class and the abilities that it carries for you. Most players will be gaining this kind of experience and preparing themselves to do it. If you haven’t ever practiced before, you might be surprised by the level of expertise that many others display.

ESO sorcerer

Hi All!. I am very proudly to present you my first game fansite, esosorcerer.com! I was thinking for a long time to do this kind of stuff since I was studying. I have been addicted to game since my mom bought me a family game console when I was 7 years old. I started to create a fansite seriously when I first heard about the release of Elder Scrolls Online. Frankly, I never played this game series before.

The very first time I heard of it was from the biggest game joke ever from Skyrim. I believed that all of you at least must have heard it once. “I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.” This joke was very caught my attention and I started to take a look into the Elder Scrolls seriously since then.

Main purpose of esosorcerer.com is to give you the most advanced and in-depth information about the Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer. News, guides, levelling tips, builds, skills, and so on are what I am willing to cover them all in the site. I hope that you will enjoy reading articles that I am going to post and leave your comments.

Although the official site do not release any data related to classes yet, it is highly possible that “sorcerer” will be one of the available classes offered in the game.
