Why You Need KillerGuides’ Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer Guide

Like many MMO and Elder Scrolls fans, I been eagerly awaiting The Elder Scrolls Online. As any veteran of the Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim can attest, a guide is one of the most valuable resources that I can possibly have at my disposal; and with the series being taken online, serious Elder Scrolls Online players like myself need more than just a map and quest descriptions. Enter KillerGuides’ Unofficial Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer Guide, a new guide available on KillerGuides’ website and my one-stop resource for all the information I could possibly need to turn my level 1 wimp of a spellcaster into the game’s ultimate force of destruction. This proved to be my best bet for leveling, quests, PvP and PvE, gold-gathering, weapons and armor; in short, all the information I could possibly need to not only tackle the game’s challenges but other players as well.

KillerGuides or a Forum?

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Why do I need a guide? Why do I need this guide? Can’t I just do a search and read through message boards? To answer that thought, let me share a bit of wisdom I learned working at GameStop: Yes, you certainly can find what you’re looking for on message boards. Maybe you’ll even find the right information. What you won’t get, though, is everything you need right at your fingertips all at once. Independent or not, KillerGuides offered me three extremely important things: the convenience of knowing that everything I need is in one place, the certainty that every topic is explored in detail and the knowledge that the information contained within the mighty tome isn’t wrong or, worse yet, some forum troll’s attempt to mislead me. Oh, and free updates too.

elder scrolls online sorcerer guideWhat Do I Get for My Money?

For my money, I got fifty pages (and more in the near future) of tips, strategies, builds and techniques all in a convenient electronic format. This might not seem like a lot for thirty dollars, but the value of a guide isn’t found in its length. Here, there’s no fluff or wasted pages and what I needed to know was condensed, distilled, rendered down into a handy What You Need To Know. How can I be sure that it really is what I needed to know, you ask? The answer is that every KillerGuides guide is written by gamers, for gamers. Hardcore gamers. These guys aren’t a bunch of suit-and-tie corporates in an editing department somewhere who’ve been handed an assignment with so many words, so many pictures and a bulleted list of facts. These are the sort of people who use this information themselves. So you’re also getting that expertise and experience. It’s quite the bargain, if you think about it. This guide promises techniques for accelerated leveling , advice and commentary on skills for all three skill trees, skill rotation tutorials and techniques, ultimate high-level builds, PvP and PvE strengths and weaknesses and how-to’s on rare equipment and loot. Does it deliver on this promise? Why, yes. Yes, it does. I was taken from character creation all the way to the endgame. How’s that for content? Need help with quests? It’s got what you need. Other players making your underperforming sorcerer eat his own lightning in PvP? This guide’s got your back. Are you a newbie? No problem.

Final Thoughts

When I’m playing a game, I feel good having a guide handy. I may use it; I may not. But it’s good to know that it’s there. It’s like having a pocket full of magic. Of course in Elder Scrolls Online, my sorcerer already has a pocket full of magic; but with this guide I know the right magic and how deep those pockets need to be. I found this guide to be everything I expected, and more. It is, quite simply, everything I need to play Elder Scrolls Online sorcerer class not only the way it was meant to be played, but the way I want to play it- if there’s a difference. If you’re playing as a sorcerer, get this guide or prepare yourself to spend a lot of time in forums and doing searches trying to catch up with people who did. You’ll have to.

The Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer

Fans of Elder Scrolls dynasty who already familiar with the magic users in the Elder Scrolls game will feel right at home playing as the sorcerer. The article will provide an introductory detail the use and abilities of the Sorcerer.

The Elder Scrolls Online Sorcerer is a warlock in a sense that they have the ability to summon evil forces, use dark magic, and put curse on rivals. Since every class is able to equip any type weapon or armor, the Sorcerer can be used as primary damage dealer and tanker at the same time .Combining with their devastated abilities, the sorcerer can deal out a considerable amount of damage to foes.

Known Abilities of The Sorcerer Class

The first ability is Dark Magic, which pretty much works as crowd control. Dark Magic will cause knock backs and stun enemies, letting the player have a little breathing room to regroup if necessary.

Next is Daedric Summoning, which is what it sounds like. Fans of the Elder Scrolls dynasty know all about these creatures, they are the dark lords and creatures they live in another realm, full of chaos and hell fire. The daedric will follow you around until killed off in combat and they come in handy when surrounded by enemies.

Last and maybe the most useful ability is the Storm Calling. the Sorcerers will cast Lighting Splash attack after activating this ability. Moreover, the Lighting Splash technique can be combine with skills like Dragonknight‘s Conduit though the use of Synergy, can create a powerful area-of-attack spell.

What Type of Player is The Sorcerer Best Suited For?

Although Sorcerer classes aren’t usually considered characters that can take  tons of physical damage, they can be used as such in Elder Scrolls Online universe since players are allowed to equip any weapon or armor to any class of character. So those who know how to cast combine skills with physical combat will find themselves doing massive damage.

Also using the summoner ability will give you a little support when meet with more enemies than you can deal with.

Good timing is also key to using this class and knowing when to step back and spam magic to keep enemies off their toes is very important.

What Type of Player is the Sorcerer Not Suited For?

Players like myself who tend to ignore all magic abilities except the ones that heal, are the types of players who would be wasting Sorcerer’s many talents.
